What is actually inside
Four constructions, and the sleeper each one is for.
The four constructions
-
Pocket springs

Individually wrapped steel coils. Each one moves independently, so weight is supported where it lands rather than across the whole surface — which is why movement does not travel and why zoning is possible at all.

-
Memory foam

Visco-elastic foam that softens with body heat and takes your shape. Excellent pressure relief at the shoulder and hip; the trade-off is heat, which open-cell structures and gel infusion exist to solve.

-
Natural latex

Tapped from rubber trees and cured by the Dunlop process. Buoyant rather than contouring — you rest on it, not in it. Naturally breathable and resistant to dust mites.

-
High-density foam

The structural layer under almost everything else. Density is what determines whether a mattress holds its shape; it is the specification we publish most insistently.
